School is almost out! Hooray!!

Well, school is almost out for the summer!!! I am looking forward to not having to get up and be there by 7:45 in the mornings and no homework!! Hooray! I am sure we will remain as busy as ever but at least it will be mostly on our time frame. Bailey is playing baseball, he has played all positions. He like pitcher and 3rd base the best and he has done some catching this year too. Braden is going to play lollipop t-ball which should be really fun to watch. Elaina has a birthday coming up hard to beleive she will be 9 next week. Wow, where does the time go?? Aunt Kat is here visiting this week (mom's sister from North Carolina) so that has been fun. We don't get to see her as often as we would like. Dale is still building houses and has become quite the fitness buff lately. He has really put on some muscle and lost some weight. Wish I could say the same for me. lol I will post some new pics and I hope you all are having a wonderful spring.

Back to School

Well Spring Break is over and the kids are back to school. Braden is missing them today, he is wanting someone to play with. Bailey was so ready to go back but Elaina is never ready to go back!! Bailey starts baseball practice tonight. Dale had to get him a new glove this weekend, he has grown so much lately. I am very happy that spring is finally here, Braden loves to be outside. We got our trampoline put back together this weekend, the storm a few months ago wrecked it, so the kids are glad to have it back. Braden wants to lay down he is tired, Mondays are sooo hard for him. I will post again soon!

Lads to Leaders

Well, we have finally completed lads to leaders, It was great, tiring, but great! Bailey's puppet team got 2nd place, Bailey and Elaina both got Good Samaritan awards and Bailey got a trophy for GUARD and Elaina got one for Centurian of Scripture (she had to memorize 100 bible verses over a period of a few months) so it all went well. Bailey competed in Speech and Elaina in Song Leading but they didn't place in those categories. I am just proud of them for trying and for learning. It was fun, I had Elaina, Lexi Campbell and Sarah Grace Trimble to keep up with all weekend and of course Braden so it was a challenge to say the least. We had a fun Easter at Dale's parents house and Braden got a new bike for his birthday that he really loves so it was a good weeknd. I will post some pics so you can see.... Bailey had Jacob Campbell spend the night last night and I heard them still playing football on the XBox 360 at 4 this morning needless to say they are still asleep. Well Take Care and we hope to see you all soon!

I am back......

Well, it seems like I have been gone forever from the blogging world but I am back.... Wow where do I start? Bailey is going to CA now! Yeah!!! He is doing well and loves it there! Elaina is doing great, she is an awesome big sister. Braden will be 3 on Sunday! Hard to beleive that the time has flown by so quickly! Dale is doing fine, he is still building houses. I am staying home most of the time right now so Braden can play in the dirt, his favorite past time. We are selling the boat, I am soooo sad! We need everyone to pray that the housing market picks up soon. Spring has finally arrived so that should help. We are gearing up for Lads to Leaders this weekend, Bailey and Elaina are both doing puppets and Bailey is doing speech and Elaina is doing song leading. I am chaperoning 3 girls, so it should be fun. Church is going great! We have about 275 to 300 on Sundays now! Wow is it growing. Andy and Jennifer are just awesome, they have been a true blessing for my kids and all the kids. I have a facebook page now because Bailey is 13 and if he is going to have one so am I. That is about all the new information I have for now, I will post after lads when I am rested.

Need some better pics to post

Well here are a few pictures from the lake in July. I will post better ones in a few days. Elaina doesn't care to have her picture taken so I have to work hard to get a good one of her. I will try to take some good ones this weekend and get them on. Bailey and Dale are going on the Father/Son Spring Meadows Camp out tomorrow! I am sure they will burn up! I can't imagine camping out in this heat! We are going to a mother/daughter night at Rita's pool for Elaina. So it should be a fun weekend. We are going to let all the girls swim and of course watch High School Musical 2!! It should be fun! Well, have to take Bailey to football practice in the heat! Can you tell I am down on the heat today! I am seriously praying for RAIN! Everytime I think of it. And that has been alot today. LOL

Hi, well school is once again underway. We already had an hour of homework last night for Elaina and it is just the first week! Bailey has started football practice and Elaina will start cheer practice next week. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! Braden has a black eye, he was accidently hit with a plastic hammer at church in the play room Wed. night, he looks pretty tough today. lol Bailey has outgrown me and Elaina is a fireball as usual. We are gearing up for VBS which will be on Saturday. Dale is working all the time as usual, he is building a house for Daphne, Jeremy, Amelia. They have a baby boy on the way, he is due in mid October. It is wild around here but lots of fun. I will post pics soon.

Keeping up with the Davenports

Well, hello everyone! How fun to do a blog! I have always wanted to try this and saw the one that Wendy Worley did and decided to try it! I will be posting pictures soon, my how quickly the kids grow!! The Davenports are doing soooo great! We love our church, we are having a fantastic summer, vacationing like crazy and we are finally selling some houses so right now today, life it good!!!! Bailey is 12 now and still going to Willow Hall to school. We are about to start football, just finished up Baseball. He just loves those sports. His favorite past time right now is fishing! Elaina is 8 and still at CA. She is doing one day camp after another this summer. We just got back from a big Lake trip. That was a blast, we will have the boat so we went tubing and water skiing. Braden is already 2 and growing up so fast. He thinks he is the boss of the house, and sometimes I think he is right. He has all of us wrapped and he gets away with way more than he should. He is a character and such a loving little guy! Loves his tractors and dozers. Well, I am getting sleepy and Elaina has to be up early for Cheer Camp tomorrow. I will post again soon and add some pics.
